AxxionIT environmental policy

Our environmental policy is a central part of our corporate strategy. As an organization operating within the circular economy, we have a role to play in shaping a sustainable future. We are committed to integrating environmentally friendly practices and limiting our impact on the environment.

 

1. Appropriate measures and intentions

We take measures that align with the size of our organisation and the nature of our activities, products and services. These include:

Selection and use of environmentally friendly resources. We prefer environmentally friendly materials and resources to limit our environmental impact.

Reduction of waste streams. We take measures to prevent and reduce waste and encourage the recycling and reuse of discarded electrical equipment. Wherever possible, we use reusable materials, such as mesh boxes or packaging made from renewable resources.

Safe handling and disposal of hazardous substances. We ensure that any hazardous substances contained in discarded electrical equipment are handled and disposed of safely, to limit risks to the environment and health. We act as a collection point for batteries in partnership with a certified battery recycler and regularly train our team in handling hazardous substances.

 

2. Framework for environmental objectives

We have established a framework for setting specific, measurable and achievable environmental objectives. These objectives are reviewed and adjusted regularly, so they continue to align with current environmental requirements and our own ambitions. Examples of our environmental objectives include:

Developing reliable key performance indicators.

A reduction of at least 30 percent in annual fuel consumption from commuting by car, compared to 2024.

A reduction in energy consumption of at least 7 percent within two years.

An increase in the use of reusable packaging of 15 percent within three years.

 

3. Our commitments

Environmental protection. We are committed to protecting the environment and limiting the negative environmental impact of our recycling activities.

Preventing and reducing environmental impact. We strive to prevent and reduce our environmental impact by applying environmentally friendly practices and technologies.

We strive for continuous improvement of our environmental management system, to optimize our organization's environmental performance. This means we regularly review and adjust our environmental policy, objectives and measures, so they remain effective and relevant.

We promote environmental awareness among our employees and offer regular training, so that everyone understands the importance of our environmental policy and the need to put it into practice.

 

6. Communication and transparency

We communicate our environmental policy and objectives openly and transparently to our employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
